Second Chance

Ours is not to judge or let ones hand of fury fall,

She knows the path she took was wrong, she took it still and went along.?

Isolation was the price and harsh words from the world,

She had to keep the kids so safe, hid what she felt, kept to herself.?

She made mistakes as all have done but who is without sin?

She atoned for things beyond control, made it right, took back her life.?

Years have flown and life is new but shadows still remain,

She has paid her dues to family too, they can’t see, she cried needlessly.?

She is back on track and doing well no body can deny,

Her second chance to fix the past, the future looms, and love will bloom.
