Petals (Petals)

Poetry

Poem by me- Some readers find it ambiguous. It's a short poem, I can't summarize it. As always, comments/reads appreciated.

Petals

Im surprised enough have bloomed.
Its pretty thats cut to pieces.
Tear by tear, still unaware.
A harsh search with casualties:
Wicked, hopeful illumination

Echoed words whispered through grass,
Cutting the colors now cracked
failing magnifying glass.
Float fossils to feed the wind
An answer will arrive; when?

Swirling an eerie hover
With silence being the key
Beauty and terrible mix high
Petals are all that I see.
