Treacherous snow and ice
Will put many folk into a vice
One should stay in if you can
But this is not always the plan
All around crisp and white
Behold a captivating sight
Adults walking in the park
Their dogs sniff and bark
No school, closed for today
Children excited, out to play
On their feet, in the sleigh
Voices laughing all the way
Using pavements slip, slide
Irresistible the snow outside
