I recently went to get driven to school by my mum to find a small bird had gotten their foot trapped in the hood of our car. I held it still why mum tried to figure out how to get the hood open. We were able to release it but I know it would have lost the ability to use one of its legs. This popped into my head during school that day and I've decided to post it. It's my first try at poetry so be gentle!!
