Half Dead and Too Scared

Funny thing about this one...I was in a fantastic mood when I wrote it. It all kinda just flowed out of me, not much thought involved.

Half Dead and Too Scared

It seems once again you've snuck into her head
To torment, tease, and destruct.
But it's different this time - You've crossed the line.
The game that you play is fucked.

She's figured you out and without a doubt
She knows that one day you'll pay.
She's trying to be strong but can't hold out long,
She's slowly wilting away.

All she needs is a hand to help her to stand
But no one dares to reach out.
They all walk on by while watching her cry
Ignoring the pain in her pout.

You used to give life to her now empty heart,
She used to sparkle and glow.
Now she just sits there, half dead and too scared
Hating to be all alone.

Well she's had enough of this torture and hurt.
It's time to put it to rest.
She loved you so much but through all of the angst
You've slowly turned her to death.

"I love you" she said as she tossed back her head
And let aout a sigh of relief.
Then with the cut of a knife she took her own life
And will forever rest in peace.
