Let's learn our word of the day! I was cleaning out my bookbag and I found this poem that I wrote last year for my english class. My teacher was trying to get us to learn very big 'tone words' so we would use them more. The word is Irascible. I think it would help you enjoy the poem better if I gave the definition of it instead of trying to impress you with a advanced vocabulary that I don't have.

I am irascible.

Not a loose cannon that cannot be controlled irascible.

Not a crazy banshee who doesn’t think irascible.

Not a little child who considers no one else irascible,

But an impatient problem solver who must have order.

Irascible because I don’t have time to be made a fool out of.

Irascible because I want it known how I feel.

Irascible because I don’t want to keep anything bottled up inside.
