We all think that if we change a few things about ourself, then we would be a better person. But if we continue to do so, then we'll become someone we don't recognize. Besides, you can't compare yourself to others because who would be left to be you?

As I look in the mirror,

I don’t like what I see,

And it only feels like others don’t too.

If only I had Samantha’s legs, then they’d notice.

I wish I had Tiffany’s beautiful white teeth.

I should’ve had Tiara’s slim waist.

If only I had Jackie’s hips, then I would turn heads.

I wish I had Amanda’s gorgeous hair.

I should’ve had Karen’s flawless complexion.

If only I had Alice’s eyes, she gets all of the guys.

I wish I had Amber’s clothes,

I should’ve had Dana’s shoes.

If only I could have Theresa’s full lips,

I’d be perfect.

There, I have made the ideal girl,

And now, as I look in the mirror…

It was really good. I definitely liked the message, and how most girls, and guys too probably could relate. Cuz I kno most of us have had those moments where we just pick that one thing about us that we don't like and make comparisons. So it's really goodthat it's a poem that you can emphasize with. Plus it was really well-written and the ending was really great. Good Job!
