Your heart it beats and sings a song
dark at times but filled with beauty.
Though sometimes things go wrong
you sustain and try to fulfill each duty.
You have a heart of fourteen karat gold
and I hope one day you’ll find true love.
Your words are a blessing to behold
they must be inspired by God up above.
There are those moments of dread
when your world is filled with strife.
Even though you say you are dead
your stories and poetry still have life.
You welcome those who want to belong
and always have a nice word to lend.
In your weakness you are always strong
and I feel privileged to call you my friend.
