Here deep within the confines of the ancient ones
lost to all but a few who venture beyond the path
lies a vision of beauty which has seen a thousand suns
where woodland creatures take their evening bath.

A roar of water washing, gently eroding the ground
it flows upon and harshly caresses as it travels on.
The sheer beauty a lulling, soothing, uplifting sound
moist lips trailing the precious earth it treks upon.

No photograph could capture the miracle I see
there before these eyes which God has provided.
To think I almost let this moment escape from me
as I choose this trail when the road divided.
