That knot in your throat
Held tears in your eyes
This is the only time
Anger overwhelms you
Your logic decodes it by bits
Reason tries to take the lead
But your fists are clenched tight
You let it enrage you
No tunes are in key
There is nobody you wish to see
And apathetically
You close yourself up
You resort to blame her
Whose role victimizes you
And your ego commands you
To disconnect
How many more deceptions
until you realize
that nobody else cares?
