I trust her and she trusts me. She is the only one I need......

We sit alone forever,

In the darkness, together.

Her hand in mine gives me hope,

A little bit of strength to help me cope.

We never guessed that they would turn on us.

We thought they were joking,

When they said they were going to push us in front of a bus.

I thought they were our friends.

I thought they would love us until the end.

But they never cared for me or her.

They were backstabbers.

Thanks to them we sit alone in the dark,

Forever, without a single spark.

I now know who we can trust.

Each other because everyone else caused us to bite the dust.

We can't trust our mom or dad,

Or our teacher, Mrs. Chad,

Not the backstabbers or the lady next door.

Only her because she'll never leave my side in this invisible war.

We'll always sit alone together.

In the darkness forever.

Her hand in mine.

Until the end of time.
