When your child has left your home
To make a nest of their own
You can phone and wish them well
Your life is sad, but its not hell

So when you say you feel the same
You should hang your head in shame
Visits, E-mails phone calls too
These are things you still do

You can visit them now and then
I will never see my child again
When you feeling lost and alone
You can call them on the phone

A bright future you can see
Only sadness is left for me
You could have a grand child or two
For me that wish, can never come true

So if you think you feel like me
Leave me alone, and let me be
You will never understand why
Unless your child, perchance should die

Kids are like model sail ships. You build them and set them afloat on the lake, for the wind to fill their sails.
