Faeries and pixies live with you
And if I ever told a lie
Then a faerie, would surely die
The only faeries, I have seen
Have been a beautiful emerald green
Nothing like the picture book
When I’ve taken a closer look
No wings, or wands or faerie dust
Just something doing what it must
A little worm, with a fluoresced tail
Sending out its glowing trail
This little glow worm all alone
Made the garden its snug home
Now it lights the tree at night
With its tiny glow worm light.
