I couldn’t believe it when I heard it
It was enough to nearly make my heart stop.
It had reminded me of the uncertain.
And the love, that we had lost
I’m sorry, and now I know I took our friendship for granted
But never once did it occur to me
That the sun would fail to rise
How am I supposed to understand this, now that I’m all on my own?
If I had known it was the last time
I would’ve tried held on a little longer
Loved you a little stronger
And tried a little harder
I could’ve made that goodbye, last a little longer.
Now I know that you never see it coming.
I somehow found a way, to pass time by.
But I still feel you crowding me, when I close my eyes.
You’ve graves is surrounded in flowers
Covered in the tears I’ve cried.
I wish I could change it
And bring you back to life
So just close your eyes now,
I’m always going to be here right beside you.
I’m always going to be here right behind you.
