A lion has fascinating eyes
They become big in size
When they look into the night
Their eyes glow in the dark, but small animals quiver with fright
A lion has a lovely mane
It should not be put to shame
It is glorious and golden
A beautiful sight to beholden
A lion has enormous paws
They are known to have powerful retractable claws
They can tear and shred
Some poor animals head
A lion has long sharp canine teeth
I surely would not want to meet
Can you imagine if the lion has you for a midnight snack?
There is no way you will be coming back
A lion has great power
If a lion attacked me I would cower
This forceful creature could kill me in an instant
Unless I would play dead and not become hesitant
A lion has amazing speed
They need this for their cubs to feed
A lion eats a chital deer
The deer run with fear
The lions are great predators
Some people have been known to be marauders
Lions are well known to sleep
Whatever you do don't wake a lion in a deep sleep otherwise there will be consequences that you will reap.
(This isn't part of the poem it is just important facts I found out.)
I just found this information out and would like people to know.
Did you know that Asian lions have become instinct?
Sadly it is true and when I read this I started becoming blue. These amazing
and beautiful creatures have only about 85 of them left.
Isn't this so sad now I feel so bad for these beautiful creatures?
