Daughter's Sorrow

Why did my mother have to die?

I didn't get to tell her goodbye.

We had a big fight that night.

She stormed out of my sight.

She died in her sleep.

I feel an emptiness that is so deep.

I wished we never would have fought.

I would like to know if my answer will ever be sought.

Why did my mother have to die?

I have tried not to cry.

I saw my mother dressed in black.

I just wanted her back.

Please someone answer me.

I just want someone to make me see.

I just want to hug her one last time.

I just want to tell her that I love her.
