Letter to Gran...
Hey gran, how's it going
I was just wondering how you're doing
What's heaven like
is it everything they made it out to be
I wonder if you sometimes miss me
We all miss you
You, and the silly little things you always had to do
Mom constantly cries
she never tells
but I know she wishes to be with you up there in the endless blue skies
I hope you're happy up there
just know that we're down here and we care
and I miss the fights we shared
Tell grandpa we miss him
and Suzette wishes just once more to hear him sing
You lived a long and peaceful life
and you always had that hearty little jive
You used to fight with me and dad
now that you're gone, both of us feel so sad
He misses most to drive you to town
and he wishes that you were still around
I hope you can read this without your glasses
but I know your eyes are perfect up there
Just ask God to zoom in so you can read every
little word written here
We miss you gran
and we hope that you're happy in God's world of glam
I miss our fights
and the way you used to see everything from a different sight
I love you still and we miss your smell
so flowery and well
My cousins and I used to fight over your attention
You always told me to be God's reflection
Somedays I miss your hurtful words
They always were like cutting swords
I know we never completely got along
but sometimes I still hear you sing your favorite song
I'm so sorry for doing all the wrong
With a broken smile, I pray that we could se you for a little while
I wish to spend a few minutes with you
To show you that my letter is faithful and true
