Never hurt a friend who cares; never love a friend who hurts
.
Mostly everything doesn’t have a point and so it brings no harm
Unless it’s sharp there is no risk, no cause to raise alarm
It’s got no meaning just like mist, its image is unclear
For lies are truth and truth is a lie and truth is nothing to fear
You found that light was distorted too and so this darkness knows
That without light there is no hope as it grows and grows
You think that doubt is like regret, both bad without true light
But to doubt a friend, then make amends is what will finish the fight
So if no doubt had taken place, then nothing could be learned
And so from this you’ve gained something, your spirit has truly earned
.
The knowledge of what has made you wise may also make you dumb
So learn to laugh and then to doubt and find that life is fun
Without a thought or even words, would your tie still mend?
And if you can’t apologise, then in fact you aren’t a friend
Sometimes small words are needed too, to often speak your mind
And if their locked with no way out you may be left behind
.
Never hurt a friend who cares and never love a friend who’s mean
You’ll see that line of love and hate is always in between…
.
Please hold this last advice… re-read so that it clicks
You’ll find that trouble is always worse
When your karma kicks.
