a voice can be an instrument
when lifted up in song
a voice can be a radio
with news to pass along
a voice can be a wake up call
when friends become adrift
a voice can be like medicine
when loved ones need a lift
a voice can be like weaponry
when one must stand their ground
a voice can be in silence, checked
when there's no need for sound
a voice can be an acrobat
and juggle several things
a voice can be a bird hat soars
with thunder in their wings
a voice can be like gossamer
the lightest you have felt
the voice that i love most is yours
it makes my heart just melt
