so cold

i remember my aunt arctica

she came from way down south
her teeth were so disturbing
looked like ice cubes in her mouth
cold water running through her veins
her skin was cold to touch
that gal was inhospitable
we didn't like her much
a blast of global warming
wouldn't help to thaw her out
the atmosphere was chilly
when my auntie was about
she never had a boyfriend
they were frozen by this gal
until she met this fellow
with the name of tropic al
his manner was so charming
that she soon began to melt
i can't begin to tell you
what relief the kinfolk felt
and at my auntie's wedding
her apparel , tell ya true
was old and new and borrowed
but her face was pink, not blue
