about the wonders and dangers of being too comfortable

i'd had an argument at work that morning
i'd showed up late, the boss lashed out at me
he said "i've given you two verbal warnings...
the next time that you're late, you're history"
i always turn to you when i am troubled
cause in your presence, i feel truly blessed
politely asked you if we could sleep double
and laid my weary head upon your chest
now i have known a lot of lovely ladies
but none has had the splendor of your breasts
you told me that your mattress was a simmons
but the pillows that i used were beautyrests
i woke up in the morning scared and puzzled
although you had not meant me any harm
i slept so well against you deeply nuzzled
my ears had never noticed the alarm
i went and told the boss the allegory
explained to him my auditory prob
he found it was a quite amusing story
and laughed so hard he let me keep my job
now i have known a lot of lovely ladies
but none has had the splendor of your breasts
you told me that your mattress was a simmons
but the pillows that i used were beautyrests
