CANNIBALISM

simetimes i have to ruminate

if cannibal,. a human, ate

would it be merely food for thought

would it be wisdom that was sought

or simply for the calories ?

the whole thing makes me ill at ease

if they eat track stars, are they runny ?

if a clown, does it taste funny ?

do they dine on one another ?

would they dare to eat their brother ?

when it  comes to chewing flesh

do they consider if its fresh ?

and is it better when its perky ?

is it better when beef jerky ?

i think i'll stick to ham and eggs

instead of munching arms and legs

sometimes i will eat animals

but i shan't be a cannibal
