in the world of colored wonders
was the back beat of the drum
two entities at work on me
together they would come
eight days a week i clamored
for the works of nine old men
disney and the beatles
formed the dreams that i slept in
there were lines of animation
and the lines from songs of love
both mickey's club and diamond skies
were seen way up above
the dwarfs were numbered seven
revolution's numbered nine
disney and the beatles
formed the framework of my mind
i was dancing to their music
i was drawn into his tales
there was laughter at his characters
and magic in their scales
from the main street towards the castle
to the flanks of abbey road
disney and the beatles
formed the walls of my abode
