you once thought arms were weaponry

controlling you with force
your blood would boil and you recoiled
adrift in your remorse
alarm, nor harm is in my arms
just safe security
in here, my dear, there is no fear
forever shall that be
you once thought hell was your address
the flames would lick your face
and in that heat you felt defeat
imprisoned in that place
but hell won't dwell inside our shell
just rapture, heavenly
its warm and storms will never swarm
forever shall that be
you once thought you lived in a grave
so smothered 'neath the earth
with no respect, just harsh neglect
and stripped of all your worth
with lilt, we've built a seamless quilt
to cover you and me
disgrace, distaste have been erased
forever shall that be
