wallace had a girlfriend

and her name was wendy lou
and he was quite suspicious
if she really loved him true
he gave to her a little pin
a shiny crimson heart
but unbeknownst to wendy lou
it held a secret part
quite hidden was a GPS
so he could trace her trail
and he, quite electronically
would be right on her tail
he tracked her through each busy day
to work, then lunch, then back
then after work she hit the gym
then home to hit the sack
he felt a little guilty
as the weeks went flying by
he felt a little foolish
that he was a jealous guy
perhaps he should just tell her
what an awful thing he'd done
for now it had occurred to him
he was the only one
but what if she got angry ?
would she leave him for his act ?
could this break up the two of them
or would they stay intact ?
he thought he'd best stay quiet
and he'd simply cease to check
no need for him to scrutinize
the places she would trek
one night while having dinner
she then turned to him and said
"i have to tell you something
that's been messing with my head"
"that lovely ring i gave to you
contained a little chip
that registered your movements
every journey, every trip"
"and i am so embarrassed
that i didn't trust you more
for you are someone special
that i treasure and adore"
that's when wallace started laughing
and he told her what he'd done
and how he had stopped checking
when he knew he was the one
but she did not take this lightly
and with anger left that place
and there sat poor ol' wallace
with an egg upon his face
he later tried to trace her
and explain his dire mistake
the reading made him ponder
"is she standing in a lake ?"
