john booth had worked at disneyland

a merry life, he'd led
"afraid we'll have to let you go"
top management had said
the fourteenth day of april
he'd collect his final check
but he had something up his sleeve
a card pulled 'neath the deck
he came up with an evil plan
inside him, demons lurked
and he would be remembered
on the final day he worked
it was a spring break weekend
and the park was fully packed
there'd be a lot of patrons
when his target was attacked
he donned a special costume
for he had to look the part
he hunkered down and waited
till the show was set to start
great moments with abe lincoln
was the show he meant to tweak
he hid behind the curtains
until abe stood up to speak
crying "sic semper tyrannis"
he emerged upon the stage
a derringer gripped tightly
and his face consumed with rage
the audience was startled
by this outrage from the past
and several started screaming
as they heard the gunshot blast
john figured he'd get jail time
but things went not as rehearsed
imagine his surprise
when abe twirled 'round and shot him first
great moments with abe lincoln ?
he had always stood quite tall
but that night in the theater
was greatest of them all
