the sun was high and so was i
a-fishing i did go
i grabbed my gear and hit the pier
with fishing pole in tow
the sea was still and fish were nil
a salt scent in the air
a second sniff, perfume i whiff
a girl is standing there
an angling queen, upon the scene
a solid ten, i'd rate her
a perfect cast, so smooth and fast
and such a master baiter
i said, "i'm chuck and how's the luck ?"
she said, "i'm pam, its great
but now i fear that it appears
i'm almost out of bait"
"there is a man, i understand
that's in a little boat
and he has crabs that's up for grabs
there in his shop afloat"
i said, "i'm hip, let's take a trip
let's go to tuna town
i have a raft, a water craft
its safe, we will not drown"
"we'll see the gent and supplement
the bait you need for docks
peruse his stuff and get enough
to fill your tackle box"
we made our way into the bay
out to that shop we oared
but halfway stopped and anchor dropped
what happened next, oh lord
the girl filled me with ecstasy
i cried out "oh my cod"
cause i could feel that love was reel
the way she held my rod
