i want to go to egypt
but not stay at a hotel
i'd rather find a sacred spot
where ancient spirits dwelled
just climb in a sarcophagus
and then pull shut the lid
imagine what wild dreams you'd have
inside a pyramid
there are no elevators
merely stairs and ramps and such
i'd need no modern gadgetry
i like this simple touch
i'd sing in foreign dialects
just like the pharoahs did
imagine what strange songs would rise
inside a pyramid
there's been some naughty people
who removed the things they found
but they incurred some curses
and then quickly weren't around
artifacts, i'm not disturbing
they shall stay right where they hid
imagine all the mysteries
inside a pyramid
