she was born to be a gymnast
for she had no bones to bend
she could do the most amazing flips
and cartwheels with no end
olympic medals by the score
although some may observed
it must have been against the rules
with body ultracurved
and afterward she made her mark
upon the floodlit stage
appeared in world-wide theatre
her act was all the rage
she had a ruthless manager
behind her back, he stole
but soon she had him figured out
and took a firmer role
she took him on assertively
and got him back in line
alas, it ended her career
for she had grown a spine
