you think your life is crumbling
and you're stumbling
down a well
you are certain
it is curtains
and your destination, hell
and the shelter that's above you
surely seems as thin as skin
but those cracks up in your ceiling
is just heaven peeking in
your friends have been deserting
and you're hurting
lost and sad
you are lonely
and you only
think about what you once had
now, the dark's become your master
and you bow to its demands
but that finger pointing at you
is just heaven shaking hands
you are under observation
your elation
lost in doubt
an insistence
your existence
should have never started out
when the sun explodes above you
then you know its time to go
but the light that seems so blinding
is just heaven's lovely glow
