i have your heart coordinates

stored firmly in my mind
and i could find my way to you
if stricken deaf and blind
i wouldn't need a GPS
a compass or a map
my senses would zone in on you
i'd reach you in a snap
i seem to have a seventh sense
a fifth dimension too
just like a cat that't lost its home
i'd comb the streets for you
no forces in the universe
could keep our souls apart
i'd walk an endless desert
or across the sea, i'd dart
for you're my rainbow's pot of gold
my sacred holy grail
and i would call my pilgrimage
the hallelujah trail
i hope we never drift apart
but just in case we do
just like a cat that's lost its home
i'd roam right back to you
