if you'll be my squirrely bride
we'll live up in the maples
where the noble rodents hide
they say marriage is unlucky
i say hit me with that curse
if that's the case
i wish you'd place
my nuts inside your purse
i'm bushy tailed and randy
and you're bushy tailed and wild
we'll scamper ziggy zaggy
like a hyperactive child
they say that matrimony
is monotony or worse
if that's a fact
i wish you'd pack
my nuts inside your purse
i'm blinding in my speed, dear
and i'm blinded by your love
you make me feel like flying
from the treetops up above
if wedlock is a movie
let's pick roles and then rehearse
and off we'll dash
i hope you'll stash
my nuts inside your purse
i'm beady eyed and toothy
and i'll bring some snacks along
our chisels we'll be grinding
so they never grow too long
if marriage is poetic
i will live my life in verse
so off we go
i hope you'll stow
