for Audra, my amazing and amusing muse

splicing words together
often times becomes a chore
but turns to fun
when it is done
with someone you adore
concepts you are seeking
often blur till out of view
but reappear
when someone dear
is there to guide you through
deep in conversation
often little seeds are sown
and from the sparks
of small remarks
they blossom till full grown
you and i together
often seem to share a mind
we'll ride the stream
of thought and dream
and knit them till combined
when two create a garden
it will bear some fruit in time
both sweet and pure
i'm glad that you're
my partner in the rhyme
