STALKERS

 a man who was out walking

noticed someone who was stalking

but he never got to see them in full view

but the thing that was so shocking

was that he himself was stalking

but he'd lost all track of her without a clue

well, he wasn't one to savor

this particular behavior

though he yearned to meet this woman of his dreams

but he had always been quite shy

and this had made him scared to try

to meet her under any other sort of means

but he had a funny feeling

she was wise to his odd dealings

and had asked someone to follow him around

so he decided he would shake 'em

or maybe turn around and make 'em

stop their darn infernal tracking like a hound

so he ducked into an alley

hoping into it , they'd sally

and maybe he could get the drop at last

so he hid behind a chevy

and when he heard footsteps, heavy

he sprung up to his feet and eyes he cast

and imagine how surprising

when he found twas no disguising

that the stalker had a rather charming smile

twas the girl that he'd been chasing

pretty soon they were embracing

and in june they stalked each other down the aisle
