falling asleep...i'll be right there

sleep is therapeutic

it is vital to our being
sometimes when we dream
it is strange visions we are seeing
though sometimes nightmares haunt me
i am lucky to have few
for the queen that rules my dreamland
is you
eyelids close the curtains
on our waking hours movie
sometimes when we dream
things slither in that are ungroovy
if my leg starts a -shaking
like a sleeping dog might do
i'm just dancing there in dreamland
with you
rising in the morning
it is coffee that i'm brewing
waking from our dreams
is something that we must be doing
but when the dawn is breaking
and the sun is shining through
part of me is still in dreamland
with you
