the static of
the ripping of the page
when half the value's twice the cost
one's arms fly up in rage
it seems that when you've left, it's right
and what i write's not wrong
please take off like a kite
you put the "so ?" into "so long"
the brimming glass that overturns
the spilling jar of ink
the aftermath that one discerns
when red evolves from pink
the more the letters get reversed
the less the magic spell
and then the mood is cursed
you put the "fair" into "farewell"
a shadow when the sun is bright
a crack that mars the bell
a step into a haunted night
a doorway into hell
life curls up in a question mark
as "O" turns into "Y"
excuse my next remark
you put the "good" into "goodbye"
