i couldn't tug your heartstrings with a tugboat
i couldn't lift your spirits with a crane
you fill my head with static
you're catty and dramatic
you'd have to be less crazed to be insane
i couldn't reach you if i had a ladder
i couldn't touch you with an oven mitt
you're flaky and erratic
got ghosties in your attic
to be a shrew you'd have to calm a bit
i couldn't put your flames out with a firetruck
a ton of coins could never make you change
your tragically with trauma
and soaked in psychodrama
you'd have to be more normal to be strange
