MOONS COPYRIGHT 2011

You've had a hand in molding me,

Into what I've managed to grow to be,

But let's just keep the "what" between u and me.

You've steered me through almost every storm,

You were always there to help pick out the thorns,

And light up the world in the aftermath with a glow,

Like a beautiful full moon gently smiling through.

It's always there wherever I go.

Your words play softly like a classic guitar,

In that most calming sound amid the char,

Stopping my head from spinning and guiding my feet back to the ground.

You've managed to turn so many tears into laughter,

And many more fears into crowns.

Those words I'll be carrying with me,

Through every ride still in store for me;

No matter how long it all may be,

I'll be carrying you around indefinitely,

Even at times when it's all a little ghastly.

You'll always be in my heart and mind,

As for my life; well I most certainly plead that you stick around!

Since I'll be missing you,

Every minute of every day, and all year round.

You're my confidant and my best real friend,

And that's what you'll always find in me,

For all of eternity and until the end of time.

Although at times it may seem to be,

That life may try to get in between you and me,

Or maybe time, even some snow or land or seas.

It won't really matter to me,

'Cause what you've engraved in me,

Is so undeniably sincere,

That only the grave may just try to take it away from me.
