She is choking on the fumes of life
Her lungs fill with cold dank air
Her skin turns sickly yellow
She’s begun to loose her hair

She has hands of an old lady
Her nails broken ingrained with dirt
She used to be such a pretty girl
Now looking in the mirror hurts

Her teeth stained brown with nicotine
Throat hurting from the cough
Praying for her world to stop
She’s had enough, she wants off

Her eyes no longer shine with life
They’re blank, they have not seen
If she hadn’t taken heroin
How different life could have been.

Thank you Heroin or any drugs are a way of life for so many young people these days it's a shame. It doesn't onlyaffect them but there is the ripple affect that follows.
