My sister is manic depressive

She can’t help the way she is

She takes her tablets daily

But every so often goes crazy

She once decided that life was shit

Took an overdose of her pills

She had her dog put to sleep

So they could be together in heaven

When that didn’t work

She decided to cut her hair

She went too far and is totally bald

She worries my mum

She worries us all

We all love her and care

Cos she can’t help the way she is.

Sorry but this made me smile, not because I am unsympathetic but the way you have written it conjured up so many images of this poor girl who can't get anything right and she's now so pissed off, dog's dead she's bald and her life's shit despite all the love around her.

Thank you that is exactly how it was meant to come across, she really does some stupid things but so far thank god she hasn't succeded at any of them.
