Faulkner on Tuesday

Heather gray covers a world on high

A blanket of gloom

Wetness falls from the sky

seeps in the bones of weary souls

            Underfoot

                        Splash

                                    Splash

STOMP            STOMP

Drip

Drip

Furrowed brow

Breath upon the air

Soggy shoes squeak through halls

cRiNkLeD pages bleeding blue

Artificial light in structured rooms

Monotony

                        TICK

                                    TOCK

Monotony
