As I Dance with My Corpse

Dancing with my corpse.

As I dance in my room, corpse in my hands,

The difference between us, is far apart from where he stands,

The dark shadows laughing at us,

But we do not make a sound,

We do not dare start to fuss.

My mind in a rush, His heart.. not there.

His eyes, black.. he doesn't seem to care,

Just an empty hollow, therefore it will be him..

I choose to follow.

He grabs my hands, then disappears,

Like he has, for so many years.

He's behind me, I hope that he will see,

That this absurd love, wasn't meant to be.

But in my heart, his memory I will keep.

As he lies in his grave, forever he will sleep.
