I don't want to love a man,

Who wants my breasts and not my hand,

I don't want to love a boy,

Who thinks of me as just a toy,

I just want to love someone,

Who holds me tight late at night,

And tells me it's alright,

I don't want to be held down,

My mouth covered, can't hear a sound..

In a room late at night, silence always seems so loud.

I want to be loved by someone whom I love,

Who calls me his star above,

And never lays a fist on me,

And shows and makes me see,

I make him the man he wants to be,

And not the boy he used to be.
