This Isn't Love

Poetry By: MrsOllie
Poetry

How I see the relationship of my friend and her boyfriend.
written as if its in her point of view and based on what she has told me.

We shouldn't be together,

this isn't right.

We're not in Love,

all we do is fight.

The weekends are the worst,

i'll admit it first.

We swear it meant nothing,

when really it meant everything.

Our weekend goes like this,

it's really taking the piss.

I say I'm out with her when I'm really phoning him.

You say you're out with him when you're really boning her.

We just want to get away from each other,

then we'd be safe.

We just don't have the guts to say

that we really don't want to stay.

But if you think about it,

there's no hate.

We're just scared to be alone.

So we grit out teeth and bare with it,

because there's no need to kick up shit.

Our relationship is crumbling,

we're too fucked to care.

We always come back running,

Because we know the other's always there.

This may not be Love,

but it's just enough.

Our romance may be gone,

but out friendship remains strong.

Forever and Always,

It's a really long time.

I'll Always be yours,

You'll Forever be mine.

So away we go my darling,

away we have our fun.

Always here to pick up the pieces,

when all is said and done.
