Childhood memories at the zoo. DO YOU REMEMBER????

Do you remember your childhood days?
When mummy and Daddy
Took you to the Zoo,
Where all the animals lived,
The lions they roared and they yawned,
The Giraffe stood tall
To you it looked like a giant, you being so small,
A large Gorilla made me hide
Gave me such a fright,
When he pounded his chest,
Mum said she liked him the best
The monkeys they jumped round there cage,
Ratter ling the bars scaring you hard,
Then there was Elephants
With big large trunks,
Tigers looked liked great big cats
With teeth that frightened
Me that's a fact
You fed the ducks with bread,
The monkeys you fed with nuts,
There were long snakes as well
Which wiggled and swerved,
The Zebras stripped in black and white,
There were spotted cats "cheaters" mum said,
Gorillas sitting in there beds eating apples,
There were Polar bears, Kangaroos, A large wise Owl
With big brown eyes,
So many animals at the Zoo
I remember the keepers feeding them too
I Watched in amazement as they ate there food
Some even burped I said "mum there being rude"
She laughed at me, then cuddled me,
The best I feel was the Panda
He just sat and looked at you eating his bamboo,
There were so many animals
At the zoo which I remember
Mummy and Daddy taking me too,
Oh! The memories of that day
All the Animals I met and I knew I'd never forget.
