As I sit and wait I look around the room.

Leaflets on plaque and the cure,

What's the best toothbrush to buy?

How to take care of your gums

Lots of information

We really should already know!!!

Then I hear my name

I feel hackles up my back

"Please take a seat",

Now I feel really tense,

Looking at all the utensils

Are a very daunting sight,.

First of all the check

Then the dreaded diagnosis.

We need to take that tooth

"Oh! I sigh"

Another sign of getting old

I think shivering at the thought.

Of loosing my first tooth,

Do not worry we need to take an impression first

So a denture we can make for you

In Goes the gluey gum

Then i press my teeth together

Come Back in 2 Weeks (What Joy)!!!!

We will pull it out then (Really something to look forward too!!!)

Fit you with your new tooth

Knowone will ever know

Joys to look forward too

Loosing my first tooth

Getting my first denture

Dont worrie sometime it'll happen to you!!!!!

I supose in the end

It's the joys of growing old!!!!!!!
