It was love that I lost
The feeling of warmth and security,
The passion of a kiss.
Sexual arousement that love can give
Knowing someone cared
A shoulder to cry on,
Someone to laugh with
Share all of my secrets.
When in dought pick up the phone
Knowing you will always be there,
Someone to advise me
Someone by my side to guide me.
It is like a bud of a rose
Petals open slowly,
Building a love that blooms
Never to fade if nurtured each day.
Its togetherness and harmony
Plans and dreams for the future,
Understanding and faithfulness
Warmth in my heart on a cold winter’s day
That's what Love Brings
So when it comes along
Hold on never abuse it
For it’s a rare gift
That’s LOVE.
