THIS BLOODY ARM OF MINE! ! ! ! !

Sitting on the chair

Feeling nervous

Pains coming hard up my arm,

What’s the Dr Going to say?

Full time or Part time work for me,

More physio and traction,

Or Even injections to ease my pain,

Every day is the same

Waking up I feel this pain

Sharp pangs drive

Like lightening up my arm

Affect my neck but what the heck,

I live with it and cope with it

I can’t remember now

What is was like when I never had it,

The Dr has the power to grant me a fortune

But money can’t take my pain away,

I lost a job, I truly loved,

Now stuck at a desk this is just my luck!!,

Maybe in time and when the pain declines,

I will be happy and smile free from pain.

Still when I see other people suffering in pain

And there’s, is twice as bad as mine,

I thank my lucky stars,

That I have my arms and legs,

My bodies all complete,

So really I should not complain,

But this arms! a bloody pain!!!

A wonderful and powerful poem. Very restrained description "this arms a bloody pain" but that makes it all the more powerful.

I know what you mean when you say you can't remember a day without this pain.

I hope you have lighter days and are free from pain very soon.

Juliet this sounds like it is from experience. Have you tried fish oil supplements? (Dr Anna Theresa!!) My knee has been sending me mental for weeks, in desperation began the fish oil and placebo or no improvement is coming. I understand what you say though, there are others dragging along on one leg so who am I to complain. Nice poem, really like it.

Hi Anna i will try that..anything at the moment, have a frozen shoulder for 1 year now its really getting me anoyed still off to see the Orthopedic surgen on Mon......More Treatment we will see...thanks for the support and the surgestion til later Juliet

Hi Jerry so do i but the exspert will tell me tomorrow what treatment i am going to need, and i know there are people out there with lots of worse tings wrong with me.... I just try ti grin and bear the pain..thanks for the support...til later :) Juliet

juliet, a great poem, i wish i could snap my fingers and we could all be free of pain.......till then i wish you as many pain free days as possible and everyone else too. my knees are my pain..

Hi Snow arms and legs what a pain sometimes they are ok while they work ok......i will think of you and you can think of me and uor pain.....but lucky ME!!! i am having surgery soon....(Not looking forward to that!) still til later take care happy days to you Juliet
