Essence of loveliest imagination

Wrapped in silence;

To my eyes presented an ideal vision

My emotions coloured her presence.

Her eyes dipped in mystery

Taught me the art of submission;

Lines of my story they read secretly

And steal away with my isolation.

Sweeps the dusty showers of rain

And from the seeds spring a life new;

Did the same a moving spirit’s thoughts pure and plain

Cloudy thoughts forever they bid adieu.

Sweet things have a life transitory,

Live in memory as remembrance;

So I preserve memories of bygone days gently

Because in them dwells my sweet heart’s presence.
