MALADY TOWARDS ITS END
ARVIND K.PANDEY
Love woods were standing high
Before the weather struck terror;
Despair rained, sea of failure metered sky,
Woods have sunken deep, land once green now bare.
Together we scaled the mountain steep
Now legs stagger on road plain;
Life is moving on a thread weak,
Mind once calm, now a seat of rebellion.
World a flower fancy lacking scent,
Time’s pendulum only destruction it oscillates,
A dying snake getting ready to shed its last scale,
Echoes fluently evil’s flute.
Now I smile at the world’s folly,
Their arrows only pierce body, soul has already fled,
Soul filled with her memory devoid of injury,
Resides in heaven in her heart earthly laws where cease to reign.
